I’ve been asked many times to describe the difference between triple strength coca tea (Erythroxylum novogranatense) and regular coca Erythroxylum coca var coca.
Firstly, because I have been consuming coca for many years now, I have developed a particular way to tell them apart.
Triple strength coca tea grows mainly in Bolivia. It also grows in Peru, but our supplier grows it in the the lowland regions of Bolivia.
Triple strength coca tastes different to the regular coca tea.
A high content of methyl salicylate (wintergreen oil) in the leaves makes this strain an excellent raw material of flavourings for soda drinks. Erythroxylum novogranatense coca from Peru is used in the manufacture of Coca-Cola soda drinks. This species of coca is highly regarded for its flavour and high cocaine alkaloid content, it has been used for coca-flavoured beverages for a long time.
So now you can see that it’s not only us that really values triple strength coca tea. The leaves have long been used by local people in Peru and Bolivia as a stimulant to stop hunger, promote weight loss and stop exhaustion.
Triple strength coca tea aka Erythroxylum novogranatense offers a better experience for the consumer overall in terms of energy, weight loss and mental clarity.
Inside Erythroxylum coca var. coca, the lowest and weakest alkaloid content belongs to Erythroxylum coca var. ipadu, This coca plant grows in the Amazonian rain forests. It has an average alkaloid content that’s been rated at 0.25%.
Our UNIQUE “TRIPLE STRENGTH COCA TEA FLOUR” comes from Erythroxylum novogranatense species that grows in Bolivia. The average alkaloid content of this variety has been rated at 1.02%. That represents almost 4 TIMES the average content of ipadu coca tea plant species. Hence why this coca flour demands a higher price and is RARE TO COME ACROSS. It TASTES and SMELLS DIFFERENTLY to an average coca tea strain.
The end results are highlighted through significantly BETTER ENERGY LEVELS, IMPROVED CONCENTRATION and WELL-BEING.
I still enjoy chewing the regular organic coca tea, it has a much more subtle taste that I’ve come to love. At the same time it’s not too far behind when it comes to boosting natural energy, promoting weight loss and curing other ailments.
Give either coca tea a try, we guarantee you will love the experience.

Dave says
Triple strength is used by Coca Cola? I never knew that. I read that Coke still has coca in it but without any cocaine.
Coca Tea Express says
Coca Cola does still use decocainized version of coca tea, in other words, it’s useless unlike our coca tea.
