Coca Tea Medicine

Coca Tea Medicine

Coca Tea Medicine

Many people are curious to know more about coca tea medicine, in other words, what kind of uses does coca tea leaves and powder have medicinally.

This article will explore in detail how you can use the coca plant as a powerful home medicine that is cheap and very effective and without nasty side effects linked to other drugs.

Gastrointestinal & Stomach Problems

In South America, to this day, traditional Indian tribes still coca tea leaves as a medical treatment for many aches and pains. Obviously, they also rely on coca tea as a natural stimulant and mood enhancer. In fact, coca leaves have always been regarded as the best medicine for upset stomach and other gastrointestinal problems. Coca leaf tea or chewing coca tea powder relieves bloating, stomach aches, headaches, nausea, indigestion and gut spasms.

Even further, coca tea is wonderful for stopping constipation and eliminating diarrhea. As a whole, coca tea medicine is a complete remedy for promoting a healthy digestive system, stomach and bowel function. You can also chew coca tea leaves and powder. It helps to promote gum health and strengthens tooth enamel. Coca chewing is also beneficial to heal various painful cuts inside the mouth such as oral sores and lesions.

Finally, if one suffers from a toothache, chewing coca leaf tea powder will stop and numb the pain. Different alkaloids, minerals and vitamins found naturally in coca leaves will also help to disinfect teeth and gums.

Stress & Environment

Another popular remedy that coca tea medicine is famous for is high altitude sickness relief. Because this plant provides a great boost of energy and improves breathing when air is thin, coca tea is regarded is a powerful medicine that’s worth as much as gold at high altitude. The locals in Peru and Bolivia have known this for over 3000 years. Coca tea consumption helps to combat hypoxia, cold conditions, colds and flu and stave off hunger and thirst. What is interesting to note is that some experiments were conducted in the early 1970s aimed to work out if coca leaf tea chewing was linked with feeling warmer.

The researchers discovered that the overall temperatures in hands and feet decreased in coca chewers in the Andes. The study concluded that this minor variation in temperature could help in lowering the overall amount of heat lost in extreme environments such as the Andes and other high mountains.

Stopping Hunger Pains

If you have ever chewed coca tea with sodium bicarbonate, then you will realize that the urge to eat and appetite itself, disappears for at least 2-3 hours. You simply do not want to eat while chewing coca. Scientists found out that coca has effects on glucose levels and it’s homeostasis. When a person chews coca leaf tea powder, their blood glucose levels are elevated above the usual fasting level found in non-chewers. This proves that coca leaf consumption acts directly on the metabolic function and is highly beneficial for people who have problems maintaining blood glucose homeostasis and diabetics. This further shows that coca tea plant is excellent for stopping hunger pains and promotes weight-loss.

High Altitude Sickness

As more and more scientists and doctors were intrigued by the coca plant in Peru and Bolivia, a demand grew to understand how exactly coca tea consumption helps the body. At high altitudes those who consume coca tea (drinking and chewing) report virtually no headaches and pain. Researchers were able to apply ethnographic and physiologic analysis to find out exactly how coca was able to help those who used it in the Andes to relieve aches and pains. After conducting a large number of interviews, it was demonstrated that the use of coca chewing goes up significantly with coca chewers who live and work high up in the mountains. The higher they go, the more coca tea powder and leaves they chew.

This verdict extends to women and other groups, who normally do not consume as much coca as Quechua and other natives who live high up in the Andes.

Other research showed that it was not just the cold climate and high mountains that persuaded people to eat and drink more coca tea. In Peru and Bolivia, men who work in the mines often chew up to 50 grams of coca tea per day. Mines are not located high in the Andes and do not normally have freezing temperatures.

Another discovery was made when it was realized that coca tea use can eliminate the dreaded and harmful effects of hypoxia (a condition where body tissue is starved of oxygen at the cell level). Red blood cell levels are highly increased during hypoxia. The blood becomes viscous and researchers link this with the high altitude sickness and it’s side effects. It was proposed that the natural alkaloids found in coca leaf tea stop the excessive red blood cell production (major side effect) which is caused by hypoxia.

Coca therefore, drastically slows down the symptoms of high altitude sickness and helps the body to slowly adjust to the high altitude environment of the mountains.

Conclusion

This is why coca tea medicine is so useful in the Andes and other stressful environments that demand strenuous physical labor.

Please take into account that most of the above research is based on observations and not the actual trial data done in a lab. What makes it even more convincing is that the people of Peru and Bolivia have been using this plant with great success for thousands of years.

More research is always welcomes, but with current laws and legalities on plant research, this could prove as a difficult task.

To your health and success,

Alex

Coca Tea The Fountain of Youth

November 18, 2019 By Coca Tea Express 8 Comments

Coca Tea The Fountain of Youth

Is coca tea the fountain of youth? Stick around because you are about to find out some fascinating facts about the world famous coca leaf tea.

Throughout history, the coca leaf and the entire coca plant in general has played a huge part in Bolivia, Peru and Colombia.

Coca Tea The Fountain of Youth

Attacks on Medicinal Plant?

Dr Jorge Hurtado explains that coca leaf can be an effective pain-relieving medicine but it is often blamed for all the wrong reasons. While the coca tea plant has been labelled as an evil and dangerous narcotic, there are no medical research papers and doctors that can back these false facts up medically. To demonstrate this in real life, it was discovered that forty years ago, when the Bolivian government tried to reduce and regulate coca tea chewing, it directly proved that workers could not work in the mines.

It clearly proved that during hard and intensive labor, miners heavily rely on chewing coca tea leaves to work in the mines. Coca tea chewing simply boosts energy and keeps the workers awake and alert. By not allowing these workers to chew coca, they could no longer be effective at their job. As a result, their overall production and work ethic took a big hit. By allowing once again for coca tea leaves to be chewed by the Bolivian miners as a daily regimen, these workers managed to stay more productive without becoming addicted to coca leaves.

“If you check the nutritional profile of the coca leaf, you will learn that it contains much more vitamins and minerals than quinoa grains. Coca also has roughly 25% more calcium than dairy milk”, said Hurtado. In Peru and Bolivia, coca tea powder is regarded as a food supplement, just like vitamin powders and tablets in United States and Europe.

There is absolutely no evidence or proof that chewing coca leaf tea powder is addictive. In fact, Bolivia has a large number of alcoholics compared to cocaine addicts. Coca leaves to cocaine is akin to comparing grapes to wine. Coca leaf may contain a small amount of cocaine alkaloids (less than 1%) but it never poses any problems unless hundreds of kilograms of dried coca leaves are chemically processed into cocaine.

Promotes Health & Longevity?

Procaine was discovered in 1949, this is a very similar chemical to the drug cocaine. Procaine was found to contain youth promoting properties, some even dubbed it as the “Fountain of Youth”.

When procaine was given to elderly patients, researchers discovered that it improved the response and condition of their muscles as well as whole body motion. Ana Aslan was the key researcher during discovery of the anti-aging effects of procaine. Soon after, the researchers used coca leaves to improve and boost people’s physical condition, health and their capabilities. Unlike other drugs such as heroin, morphine and cocaine, coca leaf does not cause any dependence or physical addiction.

So is coca tea the fountain of youth? Let’s research further.

What is also interesting is that coca leaf also relieves stomach pain, headaches and migraines.

Many people like to drink coffee after eating a meal, however, this is detrimental to our digestion and stomach health. Coffee has a direct effect on the lower opening passage in the stomach, it has a regulating effect on the passages between the top and bottom of the digestive tract. This causes many problems with digesting food.

Coca leaf tea, however, aids the stomach and promotes healthy digestion.

“I can give you more, a lot more uses for coca leaf as far as health benefits go, but this is still very controversial even if studies proved us right”, concluded Dr Hurtado.

Other Products?

As far as using coca leaf in other household items such as cosmetics, many companies have indeed added coca leaf extracts to soaps, shampoos and skim creams. International tourists can still get into trouble with local and international Customs and Border Control officers. “A friend of mine did not realize she had a coca leaf extract shampoo in her carry on backpack. While going through Bolivia Customs airport security, the police dogs began to look excited as she walked by.

Lucky for my friend, she was not in any big trouble, but they seized the coca leaf shampoo and quiet frankly, it was not the best experience to have while flying.” On another note, coca tea powder has been shown to prevent gum disease and tooth decay, hence why it is also added to certain Peruvian and Bolivian toothpaste.

Conclusion

Calling “Coca Tea The Fountain of Youth” is an extraordinary claim, however, so far all the evidence seems to back up this claim.

As I conclude my research about the history of coca tea uses and it’s impact on Bolivia and Peru, I clearly have realized that coca leaf represents something much bigger and broader here in the Andean region of Bolivia. With so many coca tea leaf products out there on the market, it certainly stimulates the local Bolivian economy.

Even though they have tried to cut down and even stop coca leaf production over the last few decades. it’s great to see the coca tea leaf industry in Bolivia is still very active and only growing larger, ready to expand further.

Coca Tea Effects

March 18, 2019 By Coca Tea Express 1 Comment

coca tea effects

coca tea effects

What Are Coca Tea Effects Like? When you chew coca tea powder, it acts as a mild stimulant at low doses and a stronger stimulant at higher doses.

Coca tea also suppresses hunger pains, the feelings of thirst, headaches, muscular pain, lethargy and fatigue. In mountainous regions of Peru and Bolivia, consuming coca leaf stops altitude sickness. The act of coca chewing and drinking the coca tea is performed everyday by millions of people in Peru and Bolivia as well as other neighboring countries. Coca tea powder or coca flour is also used as a food supplement in breads and pastries and it is also added to wine and other liquors. Commercial soft drinks using coca flour as well as coca candy and other sweets are made using coca leaves.

Because coca tea leaf is a natural stimulant, it was used in the original formula of the Coca Cola soft drink. However, in 1903 it was removed and a decocainized coca extract was used instead.

Benefits of Coca Tea

Coca tea has many effects and health benefits. Here are some ways that you can benefit from this ancient plant from Peru.

  1. Coca tea powder and whole leaves offer a fast relief from the altitude sickness in high mountains of Peru and Bolivia. You can chew coca prior to arriving at high altitude or when the altitude illness is taking hold.
  2. Coca tea acts like a natural painkiller. The powder and whole coca leaves are excellent to stop headaches.
  3. Coca tea effects are also excellent for treating colds and flu. In fact, many people who chew coca tea powder regularly avoid colds and flu altogether.
  4. It’s been shown that coca leaves improve digestion, settle an upset stomach and regular chewing of coca tea can extend your life.
  5. Coca leaves have many beneficial vitamins and minerals like phosphorus, magnesium, calcium and chlorophyll.
  6. Coca tea leaves increases physical energy naturally, they also increase the mental focus and make the person feel euphoric. In fact, when chewing coca tea, the effects of it make you feel like you can do anything. No task is too big or job too boring.  Most workers and farmers in Peru and Bolivia chew coca leaves daily when working labour-intensive tasks.

Side Effects of Coca Tea

Officially, there are not many scientific research and studies done on coca leaves or coca tea powder. Therefore, we are not certain if there are any negative side effects at all associated with coca leaf. Millions of people in Peru and Bolivia chew coca tea everyday, some even consume up to 50 grams of coca leaves per day without any side effects. No one has died directly from coca and no one has been injured by coca. The only concern would be dental, however, this may be simply because people in Peru and Bolivia may have poor dental hygiene overall. I would also advise using sodium bicarbonate when chewing coca tea and avoid using llipta.

Llipta is an alkaline substance formed by a mixture of lime or ash of quinoa, that helps to extract the coca alkaloids.  Llipta simply activates the coca tea alkaloids. It can also be abrasive to the teeth and gums. Sodium bicarbonate is a milder alternative to llipta. in fact, many people in Peru and Bolivia have switched to using bi carb soda instead of llipta. Sodium bicarbonate is cheap, effective and completely non-toxic. It’s also good for teeth and gums as it’s antimicrobial and promotes healthy teeth and gums. When combined with coca tea powder or whole leaves, bi carb soda helps to activate coca alkaloids while maintaining oral health.

Coca tea leaves are very effective at suppressing the appetite. For people who are anorexic or severely underweight, daily chewing of coca tea could make the problem worse.  Coca also stimulates the central nervous system so when consumed in excess (chewing for more than 3-4 hours in one session) it could induce insomnia. It might take a person on average, 1-2 hours to fall asleep. What’s interesting to know is that altitude sickness also creates insomnia. Therefore, certain people can only sleep at very high altitude after drinking or chewing coca tea. Coca tea can both stimulate and relax the central nervous system, depending on the dosage.

It is generally not recommended to use coca tea leaves if you suffer from high blood pressure (hypertension), a heart condition or if you are pregnant. Always consult your medical doctor prior.

To your health and success,

Alex

Pain Free Method To Burn Fat Fast With 3 Ingredients

March 9, 2019 By Coca Tea Express 3 Comments

coca tea weight loss

There are many illegal and legally prescribed stimulants available.

Many people perceive meth, cocaine and amphetamines as the MOST INTENSE stimulant drugs available, they are ILLEGAL, HABIT FORMING and can be DANGEROUS.

Caffeine, in contrast, is perceived as the soft and cuddly stimulant. It’s legal across the world, has relatively mild effects and in forms such as organic mildly roasted coffee, it may be good for your health.

But caffeine in combination with COCA TEA is a whole new story. In South America, people have started chewing coca tea after a cup of freshly brewed Andean coffee. This combination at first glance, seems to make no sense.

WHY DRINK COFFEE WHEN YOU HAVE COCA TEA??

But new research data shows that when combined, COCA TEA and COFFEE work in synergy to provide an even LONGER ENERGY BOOST, MENTAL FOCUS while also BOOSTING WEIGHT LOSS.

To boost energy levels naturally and lose weight with coca tea, the following fat burning method works best.

coca tea weight loss

You need the following ingredients:

L-theanine – L-theanine is an amino acid found naturally in tea leaves and in small amounts in Bay Bolete mushrooms. It’s especially abundant in powdered matcha green tea. It’s available in powder or pill form at many on line supplement stores without prescription.

Research shows that L-theanine induces RELAXATION without drowsiness. Most people take L-theanine to help ease anxiety, stress and to relax. Those who get anxiety, tremors and agitation from coffee or caffeine in general, will love L-theanine because it blocks those negative side effects of coffee. Once you try coffee with l-theanine, it will be hard to go back to standard coffee.

Coca Tea – Coca tea, or Mate de Coca, made using the raw or dried leaves of the coca plant, which is native to Peru and Bolivia. Chewing or drinking coca tea boosts energy, relives fatigue, weight loss and stops hunger. It’s also used to cure altitude sickness.

Coffee – Coffee is dark in colour, bitter drink that has a stimulating effect. It’s prepared from roasted coffee beans. Coffee works by blocking the neurotransmitter adenosine’s receptors, increasing excitability in the brain.

Take 300 mg of powdered l-theanine and place it under your tongue with a teaspoon. L-theanine is slightly sweet in taste and will dissolve within 1-2 minutes.

Now you need to prepare your favourite coffee. I prefer using the AEROPRESS METHOD (AeroPress Coca Tea and Coffee Maker is found here), it’s fast, easy and makes the best tasting coffee. Instead of milk, I like to add pure organic butter, 2 tablespoons, no sugar (you can add Stevia).

Mix butter with your coffee and drink it. Coffee with organic butter is called “bulletproof coffee”. It promotes weight loss by ketosis, which is a metabolic state triggered by a lack of carbohydrates that switches fat-burning into overdrive. It stops food cravings and it boosts mental focus and cognitive function.

Within 5 minutes you will start to feel RELAXED YET ENERGIZED, l-theanine is working with coffee in synergy by relaxing your mind while the caffeine in coffee is boosting your energy levels.

Coffee boosts the metabolic rate and increases weight loss and fat burning, but after frequent use you can become tolerant to the effects and it stops working. The good news is there is evidence that coffee curbs appetite and helps you eat less long term.

Now that you have consumed both l-theanine and coffee, it’s time for a SECRET AND FINAL INGREDIENT that takes it to a whole new level when it comes to fat burning.

So how do you make weight loss and fat burning even better and much more effective long term?

IT’S SIMPLE, JUST ADD COCA TEA!

Chewing coca tea with sodium bicarbonate will make you literally SHRED FAT by giving you steady energy for the next 3-4 hours, while at the same time diminishing your hunger and boosting your mental focus. You will FORGET about food and fatigue altogether! You will not only be energized, but also CALM, ALERT and ready to KICK SOME SERIOUS BUTT whether its physical work, doing mundane office duties or writing a 20 page assignment at home.

No task will be too big or boring because YOU WILL HAVE THE ENERGY AND MOTIVATION TO GET SHIT DONE!

And it gets even better!

Coca tea has numerous health-promoting nutrients. It’s got a wide array of essential minerals such as high levels of CALCIUM, MAGNESIUM and PHOSPHORUS, VITAMINS A, B1, B2, B6, C, and E and important nutrients such as fiber and protein. The minerals and vitamins in coca tea all help to boost the function of your immune system, working together they detoxify and help to destroy toxic compounds in your bloodstream.

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the antioxidant properties of vitamins C and E reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and cancer.

Chewing coca tea powder with bi carb soda is much more effective than drinking coca tea alone. This is because you will absorb the ENTIRE COCA LEAF, especially if you swallow the spent tea powder. Whereas with coca tea, you will leave a large portion of coca leaf behind and only consume the infused tea. A large amount of vitamins, minerals and energy boosting alkaloids will be left behind. Even though the taste of chewing coca tea with bi carb soda is not pleasant for everyone, it does get better and many people start to enjoy it with time.

In my opinion, it tastes like green tea powder. Those who enjoy raw foods will highly appreciate chewing coca tea powder as you can’t get any more “raw” than that.

After 40 minutes of holding coca tea in your mouth, you can add ANOTHER DOSE (a heaped teaspoon mixed with a pinch of bi carb soda) to give yourself an EVEN BIGGER ENERGY, WEIGHT LOSS and FAT BURNING BOOST.

Chewing coca tea terminology is actually incorrect; in fact it’s sucking or simply holding coca tea in your mouth. The build-up of saliva and your mouth’s mucous membrane lining will effectively absorb all the energy-boosting alkaloids found in coca.

The L-theanine, coffee and coca tea stack can be used virtually EVERY DAY, however keep in mind that coffee and caffeine tolerance develops after several days of daily use. Research suggests that chronic coffee drinkers, who consume on average 3-4 cups of coffee a day, need two weeks of abstinence from caffeine to reset their tolerance to zero.

With coca tea, there is NO TOLERANCE BUILD UP what so ever. You can continue consuming coca tea daily for several weeks or even a few months and not notice that you need to increase the intake of coca. This is great news for those who want to lower their coffee intake while burning fat at the same time.

There are many health benefits that come with coca tea powder such as alleviating headaches, healing wounds, sores, rheumatism; stimulating stomach functions, treating colds and flu, asthma, stopping motion sickness, altitude sickness, laryngeal fatigue and many other illnesses.

Coca tea promotes physical fitness and weight loss by suppressing the appetite, boosting mental focus and enhancing cognitive function.  It has also been known to be able to treat chronic anemia, arthritis, osteoporosis, depression and leukemia.

Coca leaf tea powder even helps those suffering from DIABETES by regulating blood sugar levels. It helps to lower high blood sugar and raise low blood sugar levels, therefore helping to keep blood sugar in optimal conditions where the body really needs it.

To your health and success,

Alex
