How To Use Coca Tea Bags:
You can brew one or two tea bags as normal tea. Brew for 5 minutes using hot, but never boiling water.
For stronger effects you can chew coca tea powder with sodium bicarbonate.
- Start by placing ONE TEASPOON (3-5 grams) of coca tea powder into a shot glass or a small glass jar.
- Add TWO SMALL PINCHES or 100 MILLIGRAMS of Sodium Bicarbonate to coca tea powder or coca tea bags.
- Mix the coca tea powder and sodium bicarbonate together.
- Using a teaspoon, put the mixed coca tea powder in your mouth, under the tongue is best (careful not to breath in the fine powder).
- Do not swallow. Let the saliva slowly build up in your mouth until it is a moist wad.
- Sodium Bicarbonate is salty but is needed to activate the coca alkaloids.
- Within 5-10 minutes, your tongue and gums will feel tingly and numb.
- Continue sucking and gently squeezing the coca tea powder wad in your mouth for 30 minutes.

Coca Tea Express coca tea bags are smooth and pack a good energy hit, not as strong as Triple Strength coca tea, but help me get through mundane chores at work when I am feeling tired and about to fall asleep 🙂 They are also easier to drink as you just brew the coca tea in a cup and don’t have to chew the coca tea powder. I tried chewing coca tea bags by emptying them into a small cup, adding just enough hot water and bi carb soda to turn into a grassy paste… then I chewed them. Very messy and not as nice as making coca tea powder chew but very strong. I like to brew coca tea bags in my Aeropress coffee maker better.
If you like to chew, use coca tea powder with bi carb or make strong coca tea with Aeropress.
