So what are the benefits of coca wine? To put it bluntly, traditionally, coca leaf wine was a semi-dry Bordeaux red wine with low alcohol content. It was infused with just the right dose of coca leaf extract and other exotic spices. Prepared this way, coca wine acts as an invigorating tonic that energizes the mind, and yet, relaxes the body. It’s pleasant to taste and produces a pleasant, euphoric feeling.

Coca Leaf Extract

Furthermore, the actual coca leaf extract in coca wine binds together it’s active elements and health benefits. Coca leaf extract is packed with vitamins, minerals, amino acids and natural alkaloids. These minerals include phosphorus, calcium, and iron, as well as vitamin A and vitamin B complex. The produced coca wine is also tannin-rich, packed with flavonoids, methyl salicylate (winter green oil) and lots of other amino acids which are all beneficial to our health.

Here are just some of the benefits of Coca Wine:

– It’s a natural energy-boosting tonic

– Stops tiredness and relieves stress

– Boosts well-being and improves the mood

– Strengthens the heart and boosts circulation

– It aids weight-loss and helps to burn fat

– Tastes pleasantly nice and refreshing

As you can see, there are many benefits of coca wine.

Amounts of Coca Alkaloids

If you want to know how much alkaloids are present in the traditional coca wine then you will be surprised to know that its levels are slightly higher than those found in average coca tea. However, when wine is combined with the coca leaf extract, the end product creates a synergy of unique taste and fascinating results. As witnessed in Peru and Bolivia, when coca leaves are consumed several times a week as coca teas or the traditional coca chewing, there is no addiction or other side effects.

When used and drunk in small portions and treated as medicine, coca leaf wine will boost our health and invigorate the mind and body. The combination of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and alkaloids found naturally in coca leaves and wine will strengthen our health further.

To get the full benefits of coca wine, it’s been recommended to drink one or two small-sized glasses a day. This can be served before of after a meal. It’s been noted as a great appetizer and would go down really well in formal gatherings, meetings and other social functions. Similar to coffee and cognac, coca wine is great for relieving stress, stopping fatigue and boosting energy. Many people experience mild euphoria after drinking coca wine.

Coca wine is safe to consume in small amounts (as like with all other wines and liquors) for adults and the elderly.

Here at Coca Tea Express, we are looking at starting to produce a limited amount of coca wine (Vin Mariani) in United States and Australia.

These coca wines would only be available locally for the time being. We are looking at eventually offering coca leaf wine as a global product along the rest of our coca tea powders, tea bags and extracts.

To your health and success,

Alex

coca tea in Amsterdam

Where can you buy coca tea in Amsterdam? This is the most common question coca tea lovers look for on the internet.

Coca tea sweets, gummy bears and energy drinks are not the first products to be made from coca tea powder. For those who already know, Coca-Cola company has been buying coca leaves from Bolivia and Peru for almost 100 years.

Coca Leaf Liqueur

There is also a coca leaf liqueur called ‘Agwa de Bolivia’, which uses a de-cocainized extract from coca leaves to create a unique blend of herbs, guarana extract and sweet liqueur. While this liqueur packs a nice punch of energy, it’s no where close to what coca leaf wine feels like. However, the people behind this coca leaf drink are trying to improve the poor image the coca tea has in foreign countries beyond South America. What’s good to know is that a photo of Evo Morales (Bolivia’s old president) hangs on the wall of the Amsterdam shop where ‘Agwa de Bolivia’ coca leaf liqueur is actually sold.

On many occasions at UN conferences in Vienna, Austria, Evo Morales has asked for coca leaves to be removed from the UN’s list of illegal plants, saying the following, “The coca tea leaves are not cocaine”. Cocaine alone has created a negative false image around coca tea consumption. Cocaine is a dangerous drug, while coca tea is a health food which is extremely good for our health.

Where To Buy?

Worldwide, there has been a stigma surrounding coca tea. People who want to buy coca tea in Amsterdam face the same issue, where can they find coca tea to buy? The good news is that there are well established and reliable companies such as Coca Tea Express that sell coca tea powder across the world safely, securely and with fast shipping.

Coca Leaf Wine – Vin Mariani

Wine That Took Europe By Storm

Coca leaf wine making – Vin Mariani goes a long way back, it’s a century old recipe. Popes, queens and many famous writers and other prominent personalities have enjoyed coca wine in the past. Ulysses S. Grant, Jules Verne, Thomas Edison, Queen Victoria, Henrik Ibsen and Pope Leo XIII all enjoyed Vin Mariani. Pope Leo XIII actually starred in an advertisement for Vin Mariani, the coca leaf French wine which was highly popular in the 19th century. Pope Leo famously kept a flask of coca wine with him whenever he ventured out. He loved coca wine so much that he awarded its creator, Angelo Mariani, with a medal of appreciation for all his efforts. Coca wine was like liquid gold.

Researching Coca Tonic

Back in my early days when I was educating myself about coca tea and it’s effects. And after discovering that natural coca tea powder does not have the same side effects and dangers as pure cocaine, I bought myself some coca tea powder on the Internet. During my wait for the coca tea parcel delivery, I researched some more about cocaine and it’s pharmacology. The information which I found stated that when cocaine is combined with alcohol, it forms a more potent and longer-lasting byproduct called cocaethylene.

Cocaethylene as mentioned before, lasts longer and produces a more pronounced mental focus, energy and buzz. After doing some calculations, I worked out that 2 grams of coca leaf powder per ounce of wine would make about 8 milligrams of natural cocaine alkaloids per ounce of coca tea wine. I don’t touch cocaine and do not recommend anyone else to try it. It’s dangerous and should not be used. However, for scientific research, it is interesting to note that regular street cocaine is often very impure. While 250 to 300 milligrams is not a lot, it is equal to 1 gram of common street cocaine.

Angelo Mariani

Paolo Mantegazza, an Italian doctor published a scientific paper on the benefits of the coca plant, Erythroxylum coca, in 1859. After discovering Mantegazza’s coca research papers, a French chemist by the name of Angelo Mariani created an invigorating and energy boosting tonic. Mariani took some French wine and infused it with 6 mg of coca leaf per ounce. Angelo Mariani advertised coca wine for many medicinal uses. As a digestive aid, aperitif, natural energy booster, and an all round stimulating tonic that was also safe for children.

Coca leaf wine Vin Mariani became very popular in France, eventually spreading to the rest of Europe and to the United States of America. Clever marketing and advertising played a big role in this wide spread of coca leaf wine. The wine marketing campaign relied on many famous artists and celebrities to appear in the ads. As mentioned before, even the Roman pope declared his affection for coca leaf wine claiming that he carried a flask of Vin Mariani when he was out and about. Many doctors and physicians praised the health promoting effects of coca tea wine.

Today, coca leaf-infused wine and coca beer can still be found in Peru and Bolivia. There, locals enjoy it with vibrant health and none of the side effects that come with cocaine consumption.

There are many recipes for coca leaf wine which can be found on the Internet, some sources claiming that 100 grams of coca tea powder mixed with one bottle of red wine is all you need.

To your health and success,

Alex
